The punch crankshaft is an important part of the punch machine (also known as the punch machine tool) and is used to transfer mechanical energy to the punch machine to perform the stamping operation. A crankshaft is usually a long cylindrical shaft that can have components mounted on one or both ends to convert rotational motion into linear motion. In a punch press, the crankshaft is usually used to control the up and down movement of the punch or die.
